Sulfur rotary drum granulation process technology
Based on the working principle and process characteristics of drum spray granulation, liquid sulfur and cooling water are pumped through pipelines to the drum granulator, and sprayed out in an atomized state from several nozzles distributed along the axial direction of the drum. Atomized sulfur freeze and become seed, then coated with sprayed sulfur, seeds become bigger and bigger with rotary of drum, resulting in the formation of gradually increasing spherical particles; Atomized cooling water allows particles sprayed with liquid materials to quickly cool and solidify. The injected cooling water is converted into water vapor by the sensible heat and latent heat of solidification of the material, and sucked out by an draught fan after being de-dust.
Rotary steel belt pastillation process technology
Based on the working principle of belt pastillator, the hot melt materials from the upstream process uniformly pastillated and distributed on a moving thin steel belt. A continuous cooling water spray unit is installed below the steel belt, which making the materials on the steel belt quickly cooled and solidified during the belt movement process. According to different material properties and process characteristics and product usage requirements, different kind of distributor can be chosen, such as pastillation, continuous strip stretching, and full width flaking to produce half round or columnar or sheet products.
Wet granulation process technology
Working principle: In a dispersion where solid powder coexists with liquid and is mainly composed of solid phase, the self bonding performance of the dispersion material is utilized. Through external forces such as extrusion pressure, gravity, centrifugal force, airflow impulse, etc., the basic particles in the solid phase in the material adhere to each other and increase through the interface of the liquid, forming a group of particles with a certain shape and relatively uniform particle size. This is the common mechanism of wet granulation.
Compact granulation process technology
Working principle: Under the strong squeezing force, the solid powder in the enclosed space is compressed, and plastic deformation occurs, causing the solid particles to bite, break, and rearrange with each other, resulting in the dense formation of particles with the required shape. The particle specific gravity is almost close to the true specific gravity of the material.
